Messages

With Messages you communicate directly and privately with other members — including image attachments and sharing your protected gallery.

Note: The screenshots show the German interface — the layout is identical in every language.

Inbox

1. Open Messages in the left menu.
2. The inbox shows all your conversations, sorted by the newest message. You spot unread messages by the counter — it also appears as a red number right on the menu item.
3. Click a conversation to open the chat.

Starting a new conversation

1. Open the profile of the member you want to write to.
2. Click Send message at the top — the chat with this member opens.

Writing in the chat

1. Type your message into the "Write a message…" input field.
2. Click Send (or press Enter).
3. Use the paperclip icon to the left of the input field to attach an image to your message.

Sharing protected pictures

Pictures in your gallery that you have marked as protected are invisible to others at first. You grant access directly in the chat:

1. Open the chat with the member who should see your pictures.
2. Click Share images at the top right.
3. The member can now see your protected gallery pictures. The other way around, a member can share their pictures with you the same way — media access requests also appear on your Dashboard.
